Sega's Valkyria Chronicles is coming to PC

Sega's Valkyria Chronicles is coming to PC

Valkyria Chronicles, Sega's 2008 role-playing game originally released for PlayStation 3, is coming to PC, the company confirmed today on Twitter.

In mid-October, Europe's PEGI organization re-rated Valkyria Chronicles for PC, nearly six years after the original game was rated for PS3. Sega hasn't announced details of its PC port of Valkyria Chronicles, which received critical praise (but not commercial success) when it was first released, saying more information was coming soon. Sega has brought older titles to PC over the years, including Space Channel 5 Part 2, Nights Into Dreams and Sonic Adventure.

Valkyria Chronicles is a turn-based Japanese tactical role-playing game set in the fictional region of Europa during an early World War II-like conflict. Sequels were released for PlayStation Portable in 2010 and 2011, though the third game in the series was only released in Japan.

We've reached out to Sega for details on the PC re-release of Valkyria Chronicles and will update with any new information.
