Get introduced to three of the gun-less fighters in Bethesda's BattleCry
BattleCry, the upcoming class-based free-to-play, gunless game from Bethesda, gave a teaser of its gameplay earlier this week, now it's back, from PAX Australia, with a longer look at three of its classes and how they operate in an alternate vision of World War I without firearms.
The video introduces the Enforcer, with the most health in the game, who buffs that up with the aid of a sword that turns into a shield and vice versa. Then there is the Tech Archer, whose bow appears to make her the lone fighter with a truly ranged attack. Then there is the duelist, who has the lowest health and essentially deploys himself as the ranged attack, teleporting to close range of a foe, then commencing with the slicing and dicing.
Don't like your class? Change it mid-match. The remainder of the video showcases some of the play styles and how movement, particularly grappling, helps a player traverse it.
BattleCry's beta will begin in 2015 in Australia and New Zealand, spreading to the rest of the world from there. For more on BattleCry, see Polygon's preview from E3.
